TiTAN Suspension for Toyota Corolla KE70
Day 10 - Final Adjustment (9th October 03)
Wow, can't believe so long has passed (2 weeks)......... Still don't know what to feedback, so just shoot: -
Well, basically that's it for feedback.
After much discussion we finally try by re-stroking the rear absorber to have more travel, therefore we increase it form 40mm to 80mm. Pump the gas pressure higher than before as well.
Install and test drive. The feel was immediately correct and good. The bump, rebound, whatever. It was simply fantastic. Speechless for now.
Aftermath
After much driving around it is noticed that the rear sinks upon increase in weight. It also sinks around 12mm from full tank of fuel to empty. This is not very good as the constantly changing height affect driving performance and I have to constantly learn to adjust to the differing suspension.
50% of the speed bumps feels extremely comfortable, however the other 50% feels extremely bad. Again slight mismatch here.
The front is always consistent in all conditions, therefore must be the rear coil problems.
