If do again, how?

Other tips
The AE86 engine cross-member some times does not come along hence you'll need to use the existing KE70 engine cross-member. This is not a big issue. Simply ask the mechanic to custom make you two new internal engine mounting braces and use the existing KE70 rubber mounting (if they are still good). Or best, change the existing rubber mountings to LORRY type. Solid without holes. You'll love it.
When making the custom internal engine mounting braces tell the mechanic to install the rear axle 1st, then gearbox together with the propeller shaft. Finally install the engine and custom make the new braces to position the engine in the 100% correct place. The tilting must be obeyed, as well as angle and such.
I didn't do it on mine because I didn't had the knowledge at that time. But I know now so I hope you'll do it. It is fundamental for both power efficiency as well as anti-vibrations.
AE86 brake master cylinder. Now this must upgrade, but not necessary AE86. My current brake servo is from NISSAN AD Resort while my master cylinder is from Corolla AE82. So, either follow me or simply get any big brake servo and matching master cylinder. No big deal :) piece of cake :)
Remember to change the master cylinder's internal immediately. Old worn master cylinder will leak and allow the pedal to continue moving downwards after the brake pedal is fully depressed.
