Another just for investigation purposes, the rubber from the other compression driver will be removed and used onto this compression driver.

The off-set for the voice coil still exist, but only to allow the rear air volume back to it's original. Lets see how this goes: -

1. Yellow is original
2. Purple is double rubber

Notice the migration of the high frequencies to lower frequencies. From this measurement and the previous measurement. A post processing may be performed and study taken.

With the voice coil off-set alone, the singular effect is noticed.
