Overhaul TRD 2-way Limited Slip Differential (LSD) for Toyota Corolla AE86 Levin / Trueno
12th April 2004 Monday
Part 1 of 4
I am supposed to work today, but I'm just too worried about the LSD rebuilt not being done properly. So I decided to take an emergency leave to the workshop to make sure everything is done right :)
10:00 am - mechanic called : "Chin the parts cannot be used." - when I heard this .... ................ . . . .. . . . my god - panic ......... immediately ............. my worse nightmare come true :(
"The LSD replacement clutches you supplied is TOO SMALL compared to your current ones." - What? TOO SMALL ................................. silent in my mind ...... . .. ... .. . .. . . . TOO SMALL ............???? Hhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
I replied "OK OK, I'm coming now"
While on the way in the taxi ...... .... ... . . .. . . . "TOO SMALL????" then could it be ... .. ... . . ... . (suspense, tell you later :) hahahaah
The moment I reached the workshop, this is what I saw: -
WTF? The internals does not look like anything from the manual at all - shock !!!!
Hey ..... .. . .. ..this looks familiar ........ I've seen this before ....... from www.club4ag.com's technical section under LSD. Where the KAZZ LSD was being introduced ...................... :) my god ....... could it be a KAZZ unit????
:) day dreaming all the way :) as I slowly touch it, look at it carefully, observe it's beauty and try to unravel it's complications.
