This mechanic is my favorite mechanic. His name is Ah Leong (012-6516869). He is the only one I acquire services from. Since I was there watching him replace the oil seals and since I found out and complaint to him that may be his staff previously damaged the gearbox output gears, therefore during this removal and re-insert, he is very gentle and careful :) hahahahaha

We've known each other around 10 years ago, before he was a mechanic. Now he help me solve the cars problem / upgrades :) heheheheh, while I solve his car audio requirement. Still good friendship.

He is very good with Toyota wiring color codes and methodology. Under his record, as far as I know.

  3. Transplant 20v_AFM (FF) into TT140 (FR) under same guidance from my side, sources from various internet. Thanks to all those who shared valuable information. Please see Research. Also transplanted the entire air-cond system, dashboard system, meters, all ancillaries. Every single electrical is transferred. When the finish car is inspected, it is officially correct.

  5. Transplant 20v_AFM into KE70 (me) - everything transferred.

  8. Transplant local AE101 1.6 SEG 4A-FE into AE92, integrating the  4A-FE complete wiring loom into AE92's dashboard meter instruments panel display, air-cond switches, key, signals, compressor, blower, etc etc etc. Add engine warning light. During this time, tracing, cutting, joining, checking of wires between AE101 to AE92 is crucial. Not one failure. Car starts and runs without hiccups. However later found a trouble where engine warning light "ON". Upon stop car and re-start, no problem. Every time driving above 110 km/h this problem occurs. It is found that the digital speedo is not connected to the ECU and cause this problem. So a AE92 digital dashboard meter instruments panel display is found and solved the problem.
  9. Transplant AE92 into local AE92. Again tracing, cutting, joining, checking of wires because he wants to retain the original dashboard. All connections are solder and then heat shrink wrap. Extremely rare does local mechanic does that. hehehehh must be brain washing session from me, during my transplant :) ahahahh.
  10. Transplant AE82 into local EE80. Piece of cake.

Anyway, all without trouble, or none that both of use could not solve. Still there was a few cases we reject to help because upon inspection.......the wiring looms is simply......too messy........ too much work to check........the time spent, mind as well change the complete wiring loom.

These cases are usually integration between old wiring and new wiring. Worst part is some important EFI (non_directly_visible_important) has been cut and lost.
