Part 4 - Registering at Berjaya Tioman Beach Resort

The bus ride to the resort was ......... nice??? pleasurable??? important aspect of the holiday experience??? as the traveling of 10 minutes up the mountain a little, gets to show you the beauty of Tioman beaches and the far reaches of the ocean, as well as deep dense forest of fresh air :) Don't go inside, there's TIGER :) ggrrrrahhhhhh

The moment of arrival to the resort is sort of known in the heart as we enter places with well laid tile roads for vehicles and pedestrians. Nicely build long houses and chalets everywhere. The up keep is extremely good. Everything looked new (like 1 year old) while we know it's more like 10 years old. Everything is properly maintained, and everywhere is clean :)

As soon as we arrived at the resort we register ourselves and proceed to our chalet where there is a little golf like pick-up giving the ride. It was near. However the room was not suitable hence we asked for a change. The servicemen did not show any signs of troublesome and quickly called the office for arrangement. Good service ethnics here. He left us to wait, since the office need some time to look for another room while he took other customers to their chalet.

About an hour later (OK may be 30 minutes) some one came back and took us to another chalet. This time perfect :).

It is already 6pm (I think, or was is 5:30pm), late anyway. No time for any sea activities. We changed to very casual and proceed to check out the surrounding areas, beaches, facilities etc.

We had the welcome drink at Sri Nelayan Restaurant??? and saw a small but nice swimming pool. We looked for the beach but felt it was a little dirty. I mean you have to think of it from a perfectionist point of view. One little black stone means it is not clean type of mentality. So we didn't go to the beach.

We went back to change to our swim wear and swam until 7pm ??? short swim only, I nearly had a cram??? had not exercise for a long long time :) saw many pretty girls :) all very sexy and relax and don't mind every other male watching. OK, not watching but admiring for the short moment when they walked by :)

But seriously, everyone was very well behaved. As soon as any girl walk by in bikini or similar, everymen would watch, for a short moment. This is to respect our female counterparts attractiveness. Righttttttttttt???? There is always a sign of appreciation from the view and sense of satisfaction of the company of pretty girls around. The girls on the other hand was very generous and did not feel stalked or offended in anyway.

The whole process is very quick and civilized. Both male and female respected each other very well.

To be honest and frank. The satisfaction is not seeing girls in bikini. The satisfaction can be seen from everyone's face (sort of with their eyes closed) that everyone's mind is saying the same thing. One thing only. That is - "Aaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh I'm in a holiday".

So, eyes on the girls but mind in the heaven :) See? Civilized.

After we finished the swim, went back for a shower, had a short rest, proceed to the lobby to book for tomorrow's snorkeling trip. We top up RM35 per person to be taken to a total of 4 coral reef sites, Salang Beach for lunch and a Fishing Nursery. 6 places in all :). After that we had dinner at Sri Nelayan Restaurant again :) We had medium western food for dinner :) Not big steak / chops.

The night ended quiet. We went back to chalet, there was nothing to do, we weren't adventuress and was somewhat lazy to go anywhere. My friend read a book about Malaysia and we talked while I was flipping through TV channels.

For unknown reason we friend couldn't sleep that night. She keeps waking up and talked. It was OK until 12am I think. I started to get worried that we wouldn't be able to sleep and hence wake for next morning's snorkeling. So I gave her a back massage. After I stopped and try to go to sleep, guess what? Before I fell asleep, she did first. Ha, must be my lucky night?
