Holiday to Pulau Tioman

Part 1 - How it all started?

I don't know where to start???? :( so, I'll just write whatever comes out of my mind / memories.

(Pulau is a Malay word = Island in English)

Pulau Tioman is situated on the east coast of West Malaysia, near the middle, not north, not south.

Malaysia is two big land, there is east and there is west. So Pulau Tioman is on the east coast of West Malaysia, not west coast on East Malaysia. Hahahahahahaha got you there. But it's true.

It is said to be one of Malaysia's best island. Very clean, clear water with corals and romantic :) heheheheheh

I've always wanted to visit all of Malaysia before visiting overseas. Now is a start. Thanks to a new friend (girl) hehehe visiting from Japan. FUJII Sawa. With her visit to Malaysia, she plans to go with her Australia's university friends. Unfortunately they (Tomo and Doris) are unable to go. So what suppose to me tagging along became me as the tour guide and temporary guardian. What's going on???? but hey, it ain't bad going to a beach with a beautiful girl anytime. So hehehehhehehehe go it is.

I'm a internet person, so I never read the newspaper, nor look up a holiday package deal from any magazines. I just search the internet for "Pulau Tioman" or "Tioman Island". I use Search Malaysia (Search Engine that search within Malaysia only)

I found this contact Samantha Koo. At 1st I wanted to go to Pulau Besar because it was nearer and accessible by car and short boat ride. However it was full. 

Side notes: - There are two Pulau Besar. One on the east coast and the other on the west coast. I wanted to go to the west coast, but actually contacted the reservation office for the east coast. I found out very late, it is lucky that the deal did not go through, or else I would have gone to the wrong side of the world :) heheheheheheh

Since Pulau Besar is not available, then Tomo suggests to go to Pulau Langkawi but Samantha Koo said all beach resorts are fully booked for Merdeka (Independence Day) holiday season, except for Pulau Tioman at Salang Beach Resort. So I took it without consulting Sawa. Hey, it's only a booking it doesn't cost anything :) hihihihihihiihihihihih evil smile :)
